Chargha is a deep fried chicken dish from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The whole chicken is marinated overnight in the refrigerator with sauce made of spices mixed with yoghurt. Then the marinated chicken steamed then deep fried in oil.
Ingredients
Whole Chicken 1 ½ kg
Salt 1 tsp
Black salt 1 tsp
Red Chili powder 2 tbs
Crushed Black Pepper 1 tbsp
Crushed Roasted Cumin 1 & 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice 3
Chat Masala 1 tbp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Jaifal javitry powder 1/2 tsp
Carom / Ajwain 1 tsp
Corn flour 3 tbs
Orange food colour 1/4 tsp
Yogurt 3 large tbs
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
Cooking Oil To fry
