In a previous video, we exploded (more like "unexploded") the myth that ceramic body armor is fragile by dropping an RMA plate 3,000 feet from an airplane. Then we hit it with 11 rounds of .308 without it failing. Another thing "they" say on the Interwebs is ceramic body armor can't withstand heat. Let's roast an RMA Armament Level 4 ceramic armor plate with a flame thrower and see what happens. Whoops, the cloth outer cover went up in smoke. Once it's nice and toasty, we hit it with a 7.62x39mm 123 grain FMJ at 25 yards, and... RMA ceramic body armor CAN take the heat and still do its job. Current score: RMA armor, 2. Internet Keyboard Jockeys, 0. Next time: We've tried impact and fire; how about some water torture?
