UV gel polish doesn’t last?
Start by shaping the nails
Prepare your nails before applying a UV gel polish
Push back the cuticles with a wood stick
Or with a pusher
Use a cuticle remover to soften the cuticles
Remove the cuticles using a cuticle nipper
Mattify the nails using a polishing block
Degrease the nails using the Semilac nail cleaner
Skip the area around the cuticles while degreasing the nails to keep the sebum from the cuticles off the nails
Apply your favourite primer
Wait a few seconds
Apply your favourite Semilac UV gel polish
A small amount of a UV gel polish
Remove the excess UV gel polish from the brush – wipe it on the inside of the bottle
Paint towards the free edge
Paint the free edge
Remember to keep all of the nails under the UV lamp while curing
The UV gel polish will not cure properly on this nail
Poorly cured UV gel polish wrinkles
The layer of the UV gel polish is too thick + improperly cured
Well-cured
Wipe the uncured UV gel polish with a nail cleaner
Remove the remaining part of the cured UV gel polish using Semilac remover wraps and acetone or a remover
Be careful not to paint over the cuticles
Push back the nail walls with your thumb or a finger next to it
Use the 2-in-1 multitool while painting near the cuticles
Cure the nails under a UV lamp
All set!
