Here's Le Mans 24 running on the latest version of Supermodel. I captured this footage for use in my recently released Sega Model 3 and the Dreamcast video, but I thought I might as well upload the whole unedited race as it was an interesting one with lots of CPU car crashes and flaming car wrecks littering the track. There's a bit where some tires from one of the crash barriers spill onto the track as well, something I've not observed before in this game.
Compared to my last upload of this from a year ago [ Ссылка ] things have improved graphically in some ways, but then taken a little step back in others, something the Supermodel developers are aware of - unfortunately fixing things in one area can then subsequently break something else.
The cars now have lighting effects on their surfaces (I think this is what's known as specular lighting, but I could be wrong) and in the daytime sections of the game things are looking really good, the cars look far more substantial and 'solid' compared to the 'flat' appearance they have with no lighting. Where things have taken a step back is that now in the night time section, all the neon light type effects in the fun fair section and road side stalls you drive through aren't lit up like they should be. Hopefully though it won't be too complicated a fix for the Supermodel devs, and I look forward to seeing what further advances in the game they have up their collective sleeves.
