According to noted neuroendocrinology researcher Robert Sapolsky, testosterone does not increase aggression in men. What it does is increase competitiveness. So if you got a bunch of Buddhist monks hopped up on testosterone, they'd try and outdo each other on random acts of kindness.
Whatever's perceived in a given culture as raising a man's status, among other males, that drive will be increased. You can plug that in wherever you want. Your thoughts? What's been your experience?
