The years immediately after the end of the Second World War saw the largest refugee crisis in Europe. Millions of people were displaced by the effects of the war and post-war border changes. This film shows Displaced Persons being sprayed with de-lousing powder at a DP centre in Osnabrűck, Germany. Keeping disease and infection at bay was a major task in DP camps.
