Basic Kick Ball Change
The basic kick ball change is actually a ballet move. After you get this one down, you'll be adding the hip hop groove to it.
To do the basic kick ball change, first do a small kick forward with your right foot. To do the ball part, bring the foot back in and touch the floor with the ball of it. Finally, to do the change, lift up your left foot and then step it down.
Hip Hop's Kick Ball Change
To turn the basic kick ball change into a hip hop dance move, add the motion of leaning slightly to one side, then slightly to the other, back and forth.
Start from a slight lean to the left. From this, lean slightly to the right while kicking your right foot. Touch the floor with the ball of that foot, then lean slightly to the left while doing the change.
To do an eight count of kick ball changes. Do this move a total of five times in a row.
Tips
* Make sure to keep your body loose with this move, sort of like you're just walking down the street.
This is a move that you can really get creative with; you've got your hands and your head free to do any moves you'd like. Bring in your personality however you can.
