If you're looking for a set of adventure boots it's hard to go past the Sidi Adventure 2 Gore-Tex boot, which while demanding a premium is absolutely feature packed, with full waterproofing thanks to Gore-Tex, a micro-adjustable buckle system and velcro upper closure, heavy duty high-grip rubber sole, high levels of protection particularly at the shin, ankles and heel, plus just as importantly, extreme levels of comfort and feel.
So if the idea of a heavy restrictive boot is off-putting for your adventure riding, or even touring, the Sidi Adventure 2 Gore-Tex boot is one to check out.
There was no wear-in period for me, I just put them on and they fit like a glove with absolute comfort (note, I was wearing them on my feet). Build quality is exceptional, and they work on and off the bike, meaning you won't feel massively limited with what you can do off the bike.
The next test will see how the Sidi Adventure 2 boots go in the long term, but initial impressions are extremely positive.
