Brian Shaw's WSM Career:

The 6ft 10 inch, 400 pound - 41-year old from Colorado has taken part in some of the most epic and controversial WSM Finals ever.

Shaw burst onto the scene in 2009 at WSM - taking 3rd place.

Shaw won his first WSM title in 2011 and over the course of the next 6 years shared the most coveted trophy in Strongman with his greatest rival - Zydrunas 'Big Z' Savickas.

2013 was his next WSM title and then back to back in 2015 & 2016.

He also holds the record for the most WSM Final appearances consecutively - 15 (FIFTEEN!)

Having achieved his 4th title in 2016 - the elusive 5th title - which would equal the most titles of all time by Mariusz Pudzianowski - proved very hard to achieve.
