We compare the 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 vs the refreshed 2500HD. These two trucks compete in different classes but when looking at the LT trim with similar equipment, they are priced very similarly. With both trucks now having essentially the same interior, the pick now comes down to whether you need/want the extra capabilities of the HD. The gas 6.6L receives a new 10 speed Allison tranmission which should help performance even further.
