Once you have learned how to hear Morse code, it is important to practice sending CW, so that you can work on your skills and muscle memory. You can practice with a code practice oscillator, or using your HF transceiver or transmitter. While it is possible to use a key and transceiver connected to a dummy load, it is better to practice with your transceiver without transmitting. In this case, I am using an IC-7300, but you can do this with any CW compatible transceiver or transmitter that allows you to turn off break in. This works on my tube rigs, hybrid rigs and solid state rigs. While break in is off, you can still hear your sidetone.
Below I will list some links to resources that will help you learn to hear and send the code.
