College Football season is still a few months away, but with spring practices wrapping up and spring games happening all across the country Josh Pate responded to a viewer question on Late Kick Live Ep 254 about what the future could hold for the SEC in regards to the College Football Playoff. If we do indeed see a format change in 2026 once Texas and Oklahoma have officially joined the conference, will the Playoff itself be structured in a fair way for Greg Sankey & Company? Will a conference with several of the best teams in the country any given year be forced to leave some at home because of structure or will that structure be determined BY that conference before they sign on the dotted line?
