Indonesia has reported a record rise in COVID-19 cases with almost 48,000 detected in a single day.
It is the worst affected country in Southeast Asia with hospitals regularly turning people away and long queues forming for limited supplies of oxygen.
The country’s healthcare system is on the point of collapse and tents are being used instead of isolation wards because hospitals are full.
Patients have even had to provide their own oxygen because hospitals have run out.
