The Altair Hypercam 183C astrophotography camera excels at short-exposure imaging. At first, I refused to believe that limiting my subframes to 30-seconds could pull in enough data for a detailed image of a faint nebula.

In this video, I show my early results using the Altair Hypercam 183C the way it was intended to be used. The target was the Bubble Nebula, and the exposures were captured in RGB through a Baader Moon and Skyglow Filter.
The Final Image was 1 Hour and 17 Minutes worth of total exposure time. The images were 30-seconds each, with a Gain of 60%, Binned 2 X 2.
The 148 individual frames were stacked in DeepSkyStacker, and the final image was processed in Adobe Photoshop.
