The Drain Gang sound has been evolving into a more club and hyperpop type direction for awhile now. bladee's Good Luck project with Mechatok even leaned more on trance elements than trap. ecco2k has continued to push the envelope of experimental sound with both the E and PXE projects.
Now, I think we're seeing this sound evolve even more into a clear hyperpop direction as Mechatok serves up hyperpop type beats for tracks like Amygdala. In this video, we're going to look at how to make hyperpop beats like the ones that Mechatok makes for Drain Gang!
