Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil announced “two new pieces of work” to address national security, with focuses on national resilience and the “resilience of Australia’s democracy”.
“In our quest to keep Australians safe in the coming decades, our democracy will be our biggest national asset,” Ms O’Neil said during an address to the National Press Club on Thursday afternoon.
“Competitor countries are seeking to undermine our democracy and we need to fight back.”
