For the past two months in Bulgaria my amazing host family has been accommodating my veganism! I am beyond grateful for all they have done for me- it is no small feat cooking for a vegan.
They have put a twist on all the traditional Bulgarian dishes- subtracting all animal products.
Mish Mash is traditionally prepared with eggs, cheese, and peppers. Snezhana's vegan recipe consists of:
-Homegrown Red, Green, and Orange Peppers
-Homegrown Onion and Garlic
-Universal Seasoning
-Homegrown Parsley
- Summer Savory Herb
It is a delicious recipe that I often have for dinner!
