5 examples of common food struggles ⬇️
👉🏼Not trusting yourself to have certain foods and not feeling comfortable with sweets in the house. It feels like once you start eating, it overpowers you and you cannot stop at comfortable fullness.
👉🏼This tug and pull between punishing yourself for eating and eating because you have worked out X amount that day. Your day revolves around food and if you were able to get in a workout or not.
👉🏼Planning out when you are going to “cheat” or have a “special food” days or weeks in advice. This usually is followed with restriction or all-or-nothing with food & exercise.
👉🏼Eating in secrecy. Many of my clients have felt safer eating certain foods without being perceived by others.
👉🏼Overthinking all your food choices. You constantly second-guess what, how much or when to eat and have developed many food rules that you feel you have to follow each day.
If you resonate with any of these, you are not alone in these struggles. These are what many women come to me with after months or years of this being their “normal”.
