The food scientist Riccardo Bottiroli takes us on a journey through plant based food, precision fermentation and cultivated meat, to understand what the food of the future will be like. A more ethical and sustainable diet, without sacrificing tradition and taste. Riccardo Bottiroli has strong passion for developing new food products with unique sensory characteristics that have a positive impact on future generations. He is a food technologist and, after a PhD in Food Science, he dedicated his career to the food of the future. His startup Developeat supports companies at European level towards the development of new food products based on insects, cultured meat, vegetables and precision fermentation. His mission is to make the search for new solutions accessible to all companies that care about the food challenges of the future.
