This video shows how Amphenol solved a design challenge in a Battery Management System (BMS) and provided a solution to meet the following requirements:
- Flexible, simple to assemble, lightweight connector system
- USCAR-2 shock proof and vibration resistant
- PokaYoke, failsafe connector system
FlexLock® 2.54mm FPC-to-Board Connector System was chosen for these reasons:
- Connector Positioning Assurance (CPA) ensures proper mating and provides vibration resistance
- PokaYoke polarized headers ensure failsafe assembly
- 2.54mm pitch for shorter creepage distance and low electrical risk
