Body worn camera video that shows a traffic stop one of our deputies made at 4:41 a.m. on Saturday, April 2. We are releasing this video to dispute a social media video that the driver in this traffic stop posted on Sunday, April 3, claiming our deputy released her with a warning after she blew a "3.8" BAC. Our deputy did not conduct any DUI tests during the traffic stop because there was no evidence she had been drinking. She did not slur her speech, smell of alcohol, have any other physical signs of intoxication, and there was no evidence of alcohol in the vehicle.
The deputy mutes the video at 1:27 when he returns to his vehicle to run her driver's license and vehicle license plate. He unmutes at 5:37 when he resumes contact with the driver. The driver's drivers license and the deputy's computer screen are redacted from the video, as well as the vehicle license plate.
