On the beach there are umbrellas and chairs for rent.
For wildlife, we had seen crabs and fish. In addition, bullnose rays were also in the water. We had mistaken them for sting rays. One couple stated they had seen an alligator in the marshes over the boardwalk.
On the island, there is a grill/gift shop where you can purchase food, burgers, hot dogs and drinks. In addition, it has many beach related items. Boogie boards and floaters were available for purchase and rent.
