In this video I have an awesome conversation on all thing psychedelic with Andrés Gómez Emilsson, the Director of Research from the Qualia Institute. We cover topics such as consciousness, neuroscience, psychedelic states, trans-humanism, and as you can see Andrés is both a wealth of knowledge and an extremely fun guy to talk to!

Qualia is an academic think tank with the goal of "the creation of technologies which empower all conscious beings to have meaningful, joyous lives free from unnecessary suffering and pain". Part of that goal is researching altered states and working out how we can map the positive elements in order to understand and reduce suffering within the human experience.

Getting the opportunity to talk to guys like Andrés is something I dreamed about when starting this channel. I honestly think people will be watching his lectures for years to come in, the same way that we today watch content from psychonaut pioneers like Terence & Dennis McKenna, and as you can see he is a great guy and I had a lot of fun talking to him.
