Innovability is the starting point for developing renewable alternatives. And everything is made from trees. Suzano already produces Eucafluff, the world’s first fluff pulp made from eucalyptus, with applications in absorbent and disposable personal hygiene products, such as diapers and pet carpets; and Ecolig, a lignin product that is an alternative to fossil-based raw materials, with applications in rubbers, resins and even makeup.
As a more sustainable alternative to fabrics, through Woodspin, a joint venture with Finish-based Spinnova, we will produce the world’s first sustainable textile fiber made from microfibrillated cellulose.
And there is room for much more, with Brazil offering enormous potential in biomass. We seek new partners and technologies to develop
alternatives for substituting fossil-based materials with renewable and low-carbon inputs
