When you run 110 volts through a pickle it will glow yellow. This is because the salt in the pickle gives off a yellow color when charged.
In this video, I build on that concept. Can vegetables or fruits conduct electricity? I use several vegetables and an apple to test my theory. Water can be a conductor of electricity when it has salt or other debris mixed into it. Vegetables and fruits contain lots of water so they should be able to conduct electricity.
