Humayun! The second Mughal emperor who was very nearly the last Mughal emperor. Surrounded on all sides by treacherous traitors, honestly it's astonishing he ever managed to get his empire back, especially when he kept forgiving everyone who stabbed him in the back. He's kind of like a reverse Charles XII, a terrible tactician before he flees to a middle eastern power who actually regains his land and then some. Some guys have all the luck.
Oh, and it's probably worth mentioning the fact that his refuge in Persia had a pretty noticeable impact on Mughal culture. They were already a bit removed from their Timurid / Mongol roots, but this really sealed the deal and made them much more Persian-inspired, and that's part of the reason why the Taj Mahal (and, y'know, all those other tombs) look the way they do.

He'd have roll dice and make people sit/stand/lie down on astrological signs, behaved different ways on different days, all kinds of stuff. Though it the idea of "He's so bad at leading an army because he's childishly superstitious" sounds a bit like something that may have been a bit exaggerated over the years
@3:56 Sher Shah actually died a pretty gnarly death. He was laying siege to a fort and decided to blow up the walls with gunpowder but ended up blowing himself up with a mine.
@4:00 More fun from the Sur Empire, after Islam Shah kicked the bucket, it was a veritable murder party over there, they had four more rulers in the span of 5 years. I mean, it's not quite Year of the Four Emperors, but still.
