Tilburg Law School’s Digital Global Classroom allows students to actively engage in their education, acquire 21st century skills and work in an international environment. Having started out as a project between Stanford University, Tilburg University and the University of Windsor, it is being used to, for instance, have guest lecturers from overseas, keep in touch with lecturers staying abroad, and to teach and conduct research in cooperation with students and academics worldwide.
On Thursday, May 28th the Digital Global Classroom was presented as a best practice in Dutch higher education by Tilburg University’s Chairman of the Executive Board Koen Becking during the state visit to Canada of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.
