I think the Lions had a big impact on how I felt and how I developed, and on the way I've lived my life almost. That as a player, playing with some great names and great players, to see the support they gave, I grew in confidence. The three, four, months you go away on tour. People said I came back a different person simply because of the environment I'd been in. The Lions environment is a treasured environment that I was invited into. And, because of the impact I think, the Lions, and what it stands for, and what it can bring out in in young players, is second to none. It's the team they want to play for. An environment, if it's right, can have a massive impact on players, brings out the right character. It’s a great environment to be in. So I'm very biased because I think the Lions is an exception environment to be able to be involved in.
