Greetings! Top of the muffin to you! Remember what thats from? Yes, I probably watch too much T.V. Anyway blueberry season is here and since, in my areal blueberry farms are all over the place and blueberries even grow in my back yard, it's time to enjoy some great local blueberries. The first thing we always love to have is some homemade blueberry muffins.
These muffins are tender and moist and have a different structure than some recipes out there. The sour cream gives the baking powder a boost and the vegetable oil makes them super moist along with the ton of berries that are stirred in at the end.
Be sure to bake them slowly. I forgot to adjust my oven and mine turned out a bit on the dark side, but delicious nonetheless. I also filled my muffin tins a bit too much. You should get between 24 and 30 muffins out of this recipe depending on how big your regular muffing tins are. You will get a few more than a dozen if using the Texas sized muffin tins.
