In this video I go step by step through how you can make a simple, contemporary looking semi abstract landscape painting with just a few colours. I am using blue and green but you can experiment with different colours. This is a relaxing and satisfying technique for beginners and more advanced painters. With this technique the sky and ground seem to merge into each other, similar to the effect on a misty day when visibility at the horizon is hazy. Experiment with different colours if you want and let me know how you get on!

- Archers Cold Pressed Fine Grain Paper.
- Winsor and Newton watercolours: Cadmium Blue, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre and Indigo Blue.
