The NBA draft is one of my favorite things to look back on because it is one of the best ways to really find out if an NBA front office knows what they are doing or not. The ability to evaluate a draft class, find the right players to select, and develop them properly is arguably the most important aspect of modern team building (especially if you aren’t one of the premier free agency destinations in the league). So with that in mind, I wanted to look back and evaluate the draft history from this past decade of all 30 NBA teams (yes I actually looked at every single pick) - with the goal of finding out which teams were the best drafting NBA teams of the 2010s.

Welcome back everybody, my name is Tucker, and I have separated this video into 3 different sections. In the first, I will quickly go through a handful of NBA teams that I feel like are not even close to being in contention for the title of best drafting team of the 2010s (with a brief explanation of why for each), then I’ll cover a second group that were close to being considered (and explain why there ultimately left out), and lastly I will reveal the 6 true contenders for this title... with an in depth ranking of each of them from 6 through 1, and then finally declaring which NBA team is the best drafting team of the 2010s.
