This is a follow-up to an earlier video ([ Ссылка ]). Unfortunately the planter isn’t a perfect solution for some picky milkweed plants. So I’ve adjusted what is planted in the container. I selected a few pretty flowers and made a display for the corner of my house. The flowers even have caterpillars eating the blooms and leaves!
The TruDrop Self Watering system has some pro’s and con’s. Crescent Garden’s Rim Planter has only a few limitations.
Pro’s:
The TruDrop watering system is easy to understand.
TruDrop Self Watering supplies water to the plants for a few days to a few weeks depending on the temperature and amount of sunlight.
Consistent water at your plant’s roots is beneficial (for most plants).
Con’s:
I discovered that taproot plants that require well draining soil hit a snag. I planted Asclepias tuberosa and it died because of having “wet feet“.
