The CamKix Premium Telescopic Pole can be used with all versions of the GoPro Hero, as well as with your cell phone, or compact camera.
The pole can be collapsed down to a compact 16 inches, so it can easily fit into a bag or backpack and it extends up to a far-reaching 47 inches allowing you to capture unique perspectives and vast scenery. Then length can be set anywhere between these two extremes using the pole’s clip lock system. Simply open the clips, adjust the pole to your desired length, and close the clips. This locking system is super strong and will ensure the pole stays stable, even during boisterous activities.
The top of the pole features a standard tripod screw making it suitable for mounting practically any compact camera. To attach a camera, position it over the screw, hold it still with one hand, then turn the wheel to tighten the screw and secure in place. To use the pole with a cell phone, take the universal phone holder and attach using the same method. Finally, if you want to use the pole with a GoPro, take the GoPro mount provided, and again, use the same attachment method.
This bundle comes with a detachable remote cradle which can be attached directly to the pole. Simply snap it onto the body of the pole and then position your remote inside. Now the remote is easily within reach and your GoPro can be controlled at the touch of a button.
The handle of the pole has durable foam covering which provides extra grip. It also features grooves to fit your grasp, so that it is much easier to hold on to. For extra security and convenience, there is also an adjustable lanyard that you can slip over your wrist while using the pole. Using this simple attachment will ensure that if you drop the pole during use, it will remain close at hand. It also makes carrying the pole easy and allows you to keep your hands free.
