They are easy to pack, lightweight and no-cook, so you don't need to carry a stove. Ideal for summer trips.
Some think it's hard to hike on a plant-based diet, but it's really not. These nutrient-dense foods keep me fuelled the whole trip and I highly recommend non-vegans give this a go too, even just for one trip and see how they feel afterwards.
There's so much research that links a healthy plant-based diet to having better energy levels, better wellbeing, and a better recovery time.
