This was a "World Cup" put on by the NHL in 2016. It was held in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre, now called Scotiabank Arena. Canada, United States, Russia, Sweden, Finland, and Czech Republic were in the tournament. The NHL made a team Europe for players of countries that weren't in the tournament. And they also did a thing that many of found gimmicky, but many liked, they made a Team North America consisting of Canadian and American players aged 23 and under.
