Today is Black Friday and I got a pair of Rollerblade Twister 80s at half price.
The first impression is that the skate is really solid. It's an urban skate, not a fitness skate, and I feel the quality right out the box.
The cuff is wide, which is good. The strap is quite long and extends on the outside, not the inside which I'm used to from other skates. I think I will need to trim it shorter for this reason.
Having a second strap is good, as it locks the heel in place. It's something I miss from other skates.
The shock absorber may come in handy, but that's something I will test out later.
The optional heel brake.
A pair of extra laces ... for those who don't like flashy green.
As usual the skates come with an alan key and a manual. That's great but I'd like to see an extra pair of axles and bolts as well.

The reason I bought these skates, I have to admit, is that I got them half price and I wanted a good boot. I will likely replace the frame with my old Rollerblade Spark frame. I prefer larger wheels, that's why. Having said that, I will of course first try on these new Twister skates as they are. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I will learn to like small wheels as well.
Anyway, I am really excited to try them on and an update video will be made as soon the rain stops falling.
