Currently, treatment for patients with advanced bladder cancer or urothelial inversion is a cystectomy. This has a significant impact on the patient’s quality of life. This can be avoided by removing the tumour, without performing a cystectomy, and treating circulating cells with systemic treatment, which will be available in the near future.
