Positano is a pearl set between the sea and the steep rock in the western offshoots of the Amalfi Coast, in the province of Salerno (Campania). All the surrounding area is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thanks to the typical mild Mediterranean climate and the beauty of the landscape, Positano has been a holiday resort since the time of the Roman Empire. There are many stairways from the top of the town to the Spiaggia Grande and Fornillo Beach, both of which can be reached on foot. Frequented by many VIPs of fashion, cinema and entertainment in general, its peaceful nights offer magical aphrodisiac atmospheres for love. It is no coincidence that it is nicknamed: The Romantic city.
