A valley located between Mount Moriah and the Mount of Olives is called by several names in scripture. It is mainly known today as the Kidron Valley, but it is also known as the valley of Jehoshaphat and the Valley of Decision. Its here in the "Last Days" people will make an eternal choice to oppose the Living God and go to war against Him. They will meet their end in the Kidron Valley. In the book of Joel we are told "Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision" (Joel 3:14), here they will meet their destiny for all eternity.
This event corresponds with Armageddon.
In the last days the nations of the earth will gather to Jerusalem, the whole world will come against Israel...Why? Because Israel in the last days will turn to the Messiah, the King of the Earth, King Jesus who will return to judge the nations as Israel cries out to him to return. At the Kidron Valley the Mount of Olives will split open, creating a passage way for Jews to escape the armies of the Antichrist in the Last Days.
Zechariah, Joel and Jesus speak about this event, when the mount of Olives splits open to provide a passage route for Israel's escape. Jesus ascended from the Mount of Olives into Heaven, Jesus is returning in "Like Manner". Jesus will return at the end of Days to establish the Millennial Kingdom.
