Eleventh-seeded Boston College took down fourteenth-seeded Georgia Tech 62-57 to advance to the second day of the Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament. Dontavia Waggoner paced the Eagles with 16 points. She also added 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Maria Gakdeng followed suit with 14 points on a perfect 6-6 from the floor to go with 7 rebounds and 3 assists. For the Yellow Jackets, Bianca Jackson’s 19 points led all scorers.
