Sky News host Chris Kenny says Russian President Vladimir Putin is “thumbing his nose” at an international rules-based order.
“The issue here is especially how we’ve seen a new nexus between Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, they seem to have decided to cooperate … you’ve got Putin just thumbing his nose at an international rules-based order.”
“Both of those autocratic, dictatorial regimes need to be hemmed in by the liberal democracies or we’ll all pay the heavy price.”
Mr Kenny discussed the latest issues surrounding the unfolding situation in Ukraine and possible Chinese aggression with News Corp Columnist David Penberthy.
