This was my first time shooting an NRL22 course of fire as part of this PR22 match hosted by Derwent Valley Gun Club in conjunction with Lodge Pistol Club and I had a blast!
I was pleased to be asked to support the new shooters in my squad, offering advice and guidance and shooting every stage first to demonstrate technique and stage admin. It was a great squad to be a part of and we all had a really good time despite the freezing temperatures.
I was delighted to take 2nd place overall and 1st in Factory, with top lad Ben Robinson taking the win with his brand new rifle, a very nice Bergara 20” barrelled action sitting in an AT-X chassis!
Congratulations to all the good people at Derwent and Lodge who are supporting the sport by making this new venue the only North East range for PR22 👏
