Released via his own renowned Robsoul Recordings, the track follows up Phil's recent hit 'Searching4Love' feat. Ladybird. 'It's The Inside That Counts' offers "chugga - chugga" bass, that weaves an undeniably killer groove. Sampled from Loleatta Holloway's classic, 'Dreaming', the vocals add an soulful power that drives the track onwards. B-side 'Another 303 Groove' sees Phil crack out his "real time live editing" skills, for another energetic slice of house.

Directed by REda daRE, the video takes us on a psychedelic trip back to gritty urban streets of late 70s/early 80s American TV. When our protagonist dons his special shades, the world around him changes, revealing the freaky identities of those around him.
