A summary of the last couple of weeks that I spent travelling in New Zealand's North Island. I started in Auckland to sell my bike and began to like the city a lot more than I did when I first came to New Zealand. I then went to Paihia in the Bay of Islands where I stayed at a beautiful hostel right at the waterfront so I went swimming every day. A couple of days later I took the bus down to Taupo which took about 9 hours. My highlight in Taupo was the natural spa created by a hot stream flowing into the Waikato river. Then I went for just a few days to Rotorua which is famous for its high geothermal activity everywhere. My last stop was Raglan, a little surfer town on the west coast close to Hamilton with a beautiful surfer beach and all sorts of activities you can do. I met some amazing people there and Jonathan took us for some skating lessons to a skate park. I am now back in Auckland, waiting for the bus to the airport for my flight to Melbourne.
