Over the past few weeks we have received multiple requests to put out a Gameboy battery replacement how to and here it is. Everything you need to know on how to replace an old Gameboy game battery the proper way. Don't let the idea of soldering scare you away from this project, it's as simple as can be and anyone can do it. We go step by step to show you how to replace that old battery and get your Gameboy games saving again.

Personally I enjoyed making this video and I have to say, it's nice to have my old Pokemon Red cart back in action without the fear of losing my saved game data. It's been almost 20 years since I've played this game and I have to say it's been sorely missed.
