After years of destructively testing my 30' blade O-Katana from Cheness, it still cuts decently despite my terrible technique. Though not as sharp as it once was, it is still decent considering I have beat it against woodblocks, steel, and concrete. I highly recommend the 9260 spring steel line from Cheness. I wouldn't go with this model though, its way too heavy(even with the bo-hi) and feels more like a hammer than a daito. Go with the Kaze or the Tenchi model for a nicely balanced and durable blade.
