An old, abandoned bus - made famous by a book and subsequent film -has been removed from the Alaskan wilderness due to safety concerns.
Officials said too many fans of 'Into the Wild' risked their lives to view the site near Denali National Park, where adventurer Christopher McCandless died of starvation.
Two people drowned in river crossings, a Brazilian tourist was evacuated in April, and five Italian tourists were rescued in February.
The 1940s-era bus was taken to a secure location while a decision was made on its disposal.
