Too much heat can quickly become dangerous – and potentially fatal. Between 1999 and 2010, there were more than 8,000 heat-related deaths reported in the U.S.
Christopher Sampson, MD, an emergency medicine physician at University of Missouri Health Care, demonstrates a quick cooling method that could save a life. It's called the TACO method, which stands for tarp assisted cooling with oscillation.
