Anti-terrorism police were allowed to detain Benson Maina Mwangi for 30 days, for his links to the 14 Riverside attack key suspect, Ali Salim Gichunge.
The prosecution told the court that Mwangi was an associate of the attacker, Gichunge, and he is believed to have assisted the suspect in acquiring third party cover for the car that transported the terrorists to the hotel.
