The Australian Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says former prime minister Scott Morrison’s decision to take on several ministerial portfolios in secrecy is “inexplicable” and “grotesque”.
Mr Sheridan said Mr Morrison “wildly overcentralised all power and authority in his own office”.
“He took this absurd tactical decision to try and neutralise issues rather than fight and win them,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
"It became a very dysfunctional government with basically an anonymous cabinet.”
